1983 Morgan 384 Beaufort SC

in Pomaria, SC

$64,900

Seller note:

Couple a fantastic Ted Brewer design with immaculate care and an extensive list of recent upgrades and you get one of the best examples of a Morgan 384 blue water cruiser that exists. A three owner boat, “Anemone” made her debut at the Annapolis Boat Show in 1983 and spent the next 13 years with the original owner in Baltimore.

The second owners moved her to Kansas in 1996 where she sailed on Lake Perry until 2012. Thus she spent almost half her pampered life on fresh water!

The third owners moved her to Beaufort, SC and spent a year upgrading almost every system on board. On deck these upgrades include new UK sails and lazy cradle, a Harken roller furler, Tides Marine mast track, life lines, self-tailing halyard winch on mast, salt water washdown, and fresh bimini and dodger. Anchoring is a breeze with the new Lofrans Tigres windlass, beautifully installed in a custom-designed bow chain locker that holds 300 ft of chain and is attached to a 44 lb Spade anchor. The captain will love navigating with Raymarine instrumentation purchased in 2012 and a fully functional autopilot. Go below through a teak companionway door made in 2015 and discover live-aboard comfort with custom cabinetry, central HVAC, new water heater, macerator pump, stereo system and new settee cushions. The great news is that the Morgan 384 is fun to sail. She is solidly designed to handle the heavy seas but has the sleek lines to perform well in light wind as well. Anemone truly is ready to cruise and live aboard at sea or dock.
